Confidentiality

All sessions with Serenity Balance Ltd are confidential. The identity of individuals and personal details are carefully protected. The only times where there will a break of confidentiality is if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.  A crime or act of terrorism has or is due to take place. In these instances, it may be our legal duty to share certain information.

 

Initial Session

This is where you will explore the issues that you are wanting to work through, and the therapist will explain to you the way in which they work.  This initial meeting aims at clarifying your needs, the frequency of sessions, length of therapy and possible referrals to other professionals.

 

After the initial session

A time and day slots are ongoing and reserved automatically unless otherwise agreed mutually.

 

Payment

Advance payment is due on the first session of the month by cash, cheque or bank transfer.

 

Block Bookings of sessions/Bespoke programmes

All programmes and packages for block bookings are to be paid full or with an agreement in instalments.  Payment is required in advance of first appointment.  Please note that these packages are non-refundable.  If you are unable to proceed with programme/sessions a credit note for a period of 3 months will be offered.

 

Cancellation Policy and Re-scheduling

You will be informed of any planned holidays or cancellations in advance where possible. You will not need to pay for any sessions that are cancelled by the therapist.

For client cancellations it is requested that 72 hours, notice is given. Missed sessions or notice given later than 72 hours will mean the session will still be payable.

 

Endings

Once a client is accepted, Serenity balance Ltd has an ethical responsibility to accompany the process to the end. Therapy comes to a completion naturally as an agreement between both parties. The client is free to end therapy at any stage by giving at least two-week notice before finishing to allow for the process of closure.
